The history of the educational institution "V. Kamensky Minsk State Vocational College of Builders" dates back to July 12, 1946 and was called the school of factory training No. 1.
School of factory training No. 1 was located on Furman str., in 4 barracks, in the area between Kuibyshev str. and Krasnaya str. The first head of the creation of the school of factory training No. 1 was Tsyavlovsky V. a builder, a participant in the Great Patriotic War, Kalinin partisan detachment, later a senior master of industrial training, an honored worker of the vocational education system, a labor veteran. The task of the educational institution was to train qualified workers for the construction and assembly trust "Beltraktorostroy", which was entrusted with the construction of Minsk Tractor Plant, housing for workers and the restoration of Minsk destroyed during the war. From 1946 to 1956, the directors of the educational institution were: Stefanyuk A., Nikonov G., Dankman S., Dorenko N., Tkachenko A.
In 1956, School of factory training No. 1 was named "Construction School No. 1". In June 1958, Construction School No. 1 was reorganized into Construction Specialized School No. 1 - director Pavlovich A.
In August 1962, construction specialized school No. 1 moved to the center of Minsk, to a building located at: Mebelny lane, 3 (M. Gebelev str., 5), where it is located now.
In 1963, by order No. 326 dated May 23, 1963 of the Ministry of Higher, Secondary and Vocational Education of the BSSR, “Construction Specialized School No. 1” was renamed into “City Vocational School No. 53 of Builders”.
Since 1969, Yurchik N. has been the director of the specialized school. During this period, a sports hall and a boxing hall were built, the appearance of the educational institution was changed (1975)
In 1976, GPTU-53 of builders was renamed into "Secondary City Vocational School No. 53 of builders" - director Shakhnovich L. From January 1976 to 1985, Rimashevsky V. was the director.
By the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the BSSR No. 56 dated February 19, 1981, the specialized school was named after Vladimir Kamensky, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the BSSR, Doctor of Technical Sciences, organizer of capital construction and restoration, the destroyed national economy, and became known as the “V. Kamensky Secondary City Vocational Specialized School No. 53 of Builders”.
By the Decree of the State Committee of the BSSR on Vocational Education No. 81 dated July 4, 1984, “V. Kamensky Secondary City Vocational Specialized School No. 53 of Builders” was renamed into “V. Kamensky Secondary Vocational Specialized School No. 53 of Builders". During this period, a training and production building with workshops, a canteen and a library was put into operation. From 1985 to 1992, Susha I. was the director of the educational institution.
By the Decree of the Ministry of Education of the BSSR No. 42-06 dated January 20, 1989 “On the reorganization of existing secondary vocational specialized schools into vocational specialized schools of the corresponding profile”, “V. Kamensky Secondary Vocational Specialized School No. 53 of Builders" was reorganized into "V. Kamensky Minsk Vocational Specialized School No. 53".
By order of the Ministry of Education No. 174 of July 4, 1990, on the basis of V. Kamensky Minsk Vocational Specialized School-53 of builders, as an experiment, from September 1, 1990, the Higher Vocational Specialized School of the Construction Profile was created. Since 1992, the specialized school was headed by Likhodievsky V.
In 2002, HVSS SP was transformed into the educational institution "V. Kamensky Minsk State Vocational College of Builders” with a two-level system of education (obtaining secondary specialized education on the basis of vocational education).
From 2006 to 2011 the directors were V. Panysh, from November 2011 to November 2017 - N. Zelenko.
From December 1, 2017 to 2020, director Piteryakova Olga headed the educational institution “V. Kamensky Minsk State Vocational and Technical College".
In the educational institution "V. Kamensky Minsk State Vocational College of Builders”, at one time, such specialists as Turko V., director of Professional Lyceum No. 1; Sayuk A., director of the Vocational College of Arts and Crafts; Machuysky V., director of Professional Liceum No. 8 of the Processing Industry; Yastreb T.; director of Minsk State Vocational and Technical College for installation, lifting and transport works; Kozlov V., director of Minsk State Vocational and Technical Specialized School No. 114 of Builders; Prigodich V., First Deputy Chairman of the Education Committee of Minsk City Executive Committee; Meleshkevich I., Hero of Russia studied and worked.
Since January 3, 2020, the director of the educational institution "V. Kamensky Minsk State Vocational and Technical College" was appointed Vitaly Misevets.
At present, the educational institution “V. Kamensky Minsk State Vocational and Technical College” is a modern educational institution that provides training for specialists with secondary specialized and vocational education in full-time and part-time forms of education.
The educational and material base of the college trains demanded construction specialists.
Taking into account the need for specialists with vocational and secondary specialized education, today the college is training in the following specialties:
Classes are held in rooms, workshops, classrooms completed with modern power tools, equipment and devices by "BOSCH", "ILMAX", "KNAUF". Classrooms and workshops are completed with the necessary equipment, devices and tools, visual aids and technical teaching aids. The college has a sports hall and a boxing hall, a dining room, a canteen, a library with a reading room, an assembly hall, a conference room, a first-aid post.
Education is made by a highly qualified teaching staff, more than half of which have the highest and first qualification category.

In 2018, the educational institution "V. Kamensky Minsk State Vocational College of Builders" confirmed the state accreditation for compliance with the declared type - a vocational college and a specialty "Industrial and civil construction (according to directions)".
